Purge Computer Key Generator version 0.9 [BETA] has been released.

This is a beta release will certainly be buggy. 

The Purge CKG will generate a unique serial key for Purge.  Purge relies on unique serial keys to store characters on servers.  This will unlock all the characters and create a fully registered player account.

LEGAL:

This is a completely legal and legitimate free key generation tool.  Purge and the Purge CKG is 100% freeware.  They are just used to promote Pushtop.com now.

HOW IT WORKS:

The key is generated based on your MAC Address (Network Card Id) and CPU Id.  In the way Purge has always functioned, the actual key never sent to the server.  The Purge CKG will always generate the same key on the same computer (provided the computer hasn't been modified). 

RECOVERING AN ACCOUNT:

If you lost your key and have not modified the hardware in your computer, the Purge CKG should be able to recover your exact key.  Due to the way Purge tries to ensure "unique player ids" recovering the key itself, might not recover your characters.  The only real to recover your character is to backup (and restore) the "/SAVE" sub-directory in your Purge directory.

PORTABILITY:

If you want to generate a different key, move to a different computer.  The serial generated by Purge CKG works just like any other Purge key.  It is not tied your computer at all.  It only uses your computer's hardware information to make a unique key.  This has nothing to do with the key itself.  If you want to move to another computer to play Purge, simply copy the "/SAVE" sub-directory into a new installation of Purge.
